Created by and for nature lovers, we are committed to providing our guests with peak quality products and world class mountain hospitality. Our team prepares through the night to make sure you can be ready for your morning and the day ahead. Come on in and grab breakfast, stock up on snacks for the day, and get your morning caffeine hit. After a day exploring the park, riding marmot basin , or swimming in any of jasper’s pristine lakes – we’ll be ready with a hot beverage and some of the best sandwiches Jasper has to offer. Or a full cake, if your in the mood to celebrate.

OUR STORY
At Bear’s Paw Bakery, community has always been at the heart of everything we do. From the early morning hustle of baking fresh treats to serving up coffee that fuels the town, we’re proud to be a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. We believe in giving back to the community that has supported us, which is why we were thrilled to sponsor the stunning mural by Five Eight Art for the UpLift! Mural Festival, adding creativity and colour to Jasper’s streets.
OUR HOME
Our passion for all things mountain extends beyond the bakery doors. When we’re not crafting the perfect loaf or latte, you’ll find us out on the trails, whether it’s running, trail riding, or just soaking in the rugged beauty that surrounds us in beloved Jasper. From the peaks to the valleys, we love everything about the mountain lifestyle, and we bring that energy into everything we bake. At Bear’s Paw, it’s more than just a bakery—it’s a reflection of our love for this incredible place and the people who make it special.

Regrowth
In July of 2024, an out of control wildfire engulfed our beloved home of Jasper. Houses, businesses, and entire neighourhoods were lost forever, reduced to ash and stone.
Amidst the loss and devastation, there have been beacons of hope. Our owner Kim Stark, a volunteer firefighter who battled the flames herself, protecting many homes while having to watch hers burn to the ground, has been one of those beacons.
Below is a message from Kim to the Jasper Community:
“Jasper, we’re still here. We have seen it all, from devastation, to beautiful community support. In such a time, it’s amazing to see the silver linings that come out of such a resilient community. My deepest gratitude goes out to my fellow first responders and firefighters from Jasper and surrounding communities who managed to save as much of our beloved town as possible, and key infrastructures. Our hearts are with our friends, neighbours, and everyone who has been affected or displaced by the fires.
I’ve seen the devastation up close, but like I said, I’ve also seen the support and the camaraderie of our beautiful mountain town we call home. We’ll continue to support those impacted and those still battling fires across the province. We’re here for our colleagues and community, and together, we’ll return and rebuild.
